Getting vaccinated could make you a millionaire.

Oregonians are rolling up their sleeves and taking their shot. As our state climbs towards 70% of the adult population vaccinated, we move closer to more fully reopening our economy. ‘Take Your Shot Oregon’ campaign is providing cash incentives to encourage Oregonians to get vaccinated. With the launch of the ‘Take Your Shot Oregon’ website, Oregonians can learn more information about the campaign.

Prizes & Incentives

  • One lucky vaccinated Oregonian will win the $1 Million grand prize!
  • One lucky vaccinated Oregonian from each county will win $10,000!
  • Five vaccinated Oregonians 12 to 17 years old will win a $100,000 college scholarship!

Every Oregonian who has received at least one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine before June 28, 2021, is automatically enrolled in the ‘Take Your Shot’ campaign. A small percentage of Oregonians who received their vaccine out of state or at a federal vaccination site can register for the drawing and learn more at Non-State or Federal Vaccination Entry. Winners of the ‘Take Your Shot Oregon’ campaign will be announced the week of July 4, 2021.

High Odds of Winning

The odds of becoming a winner of one of the ‘Take Your Shot Oregon’ prizes are high. While one lucky Oregonian has the chance to win $1 million, someone from each of Oregon’s 36 counties has a chance to win a $10,000 prize.

For some counties, like Wheeler County, there’s approximately a 1 in 600 shot of winning $10,000. Same in Gilliam County. In Wallowa, 1 in 3,200. Grant County, 1 in 2,500. Incredible odds to win prize money for getting a free vaccine that protects yourself and your community from COVID-19.

To put these odds into perspective, the typical odds of winning $10,000 in one of Oregon’s $2 Scratch-it tickets are around one in 325,000. In addition, every county outside of Washington and Multnomah features significantly better odds than our traditional Lottery games.

Getting Vaccinated

In Oregon, vaccines are readily available across the state. In some cases, you don’t even need an appointment. All you have to do is walk-in. Vaccines are safe and effective and are extraordinarily good at protecting yourself from the virus and the variants. As more people get vaccinated, we move closer and closer to defeating the virus and returning to normalcy.
