SALEM—Governor Brown ordered all flags at Oregon public institutions to be flown at half-staff until sunset on October 31, 2018 to honor the victims of the tragedy in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
“Places of worship should be places of safety and refuge,” said Governor Brown. “But today, yet another has become a place for tragedy. While we grieve for these families, we must also resolve, as a nation, to take the bold steps necessary to end gun violence.”
